Collection: Rug Pads for Tile & Stone

Tile and stone are beautiful, hard, and slick — which is exactly why rugs slide on them and why standing on them gets tiring. The right pad fixes both: it grips the smooth surface so your rug stays put, and it lays down a cushion that makes a stone or tile floor far kinder underfoot. It also hides those grout lines that otherwise telegraph through a thin rug, so the rug lies flat and even.

Every pad we make is safe for sealed tile and natural stone, cut to the exact size of your rug, and made right here in Dalton, Georgia. The choice comes down to how much cushion you want:

If you want maximum cushion and grip: our cushioned pads — the Extra-Thick All-Surface (thickest, for large and high-traffic rooms) or the best-selling Ultimate All-Surface (the balanced 1/4" most rooms want) — both thick enough to erase grout lines completely.

If you want a middle ground — real hold, gentle softness: the Felt + Rubber (a plush felt cushion on a grippy rubber backing) or the Moisture-Barrier All-Surface, whose sealed backing stops spills and pet accidents from reaching the floor — a smart pick in kitchens, entryways, and bathrooms where tile and water meet.

If you want grip without the bulk: the thin, low-profile pads — Low-Profile All-Surface, Designer Cushioned, and Ultra-Thin — thin enough to keep doors clear and thick rugs flat, or the Natural Rubber Non-Slip, our thinnest pure-grip pad for runners and flat-woven rugs.
